Let’s Celebrate ‘Computer Science Week’!

On Friday, December 8th, from 5:30-7:30 pm, join Computational Thinkers as we celebrate Computer Science Week!

Computer Science Week is designed to promote computer education, literacy, and understanding. Events held around the world highlight the benefits of computer science in education. Whether through coding, programming or design students at all levels come together to show how technology has impacted their lives as 21st-century learners.

Here at Computational Thinkers, we too will be joining the festivities of this tech-loving week! Come down and see what our wonderful students have created! There will be showcases made by students from Electronic Music Production, 3D Modeling with Blender, Unity Game Design, and our Computational Thinking class! The students have worked hard acquiring computing knowledge and now they want to show you how they are applying those skills!

The skills and projects that students complete in this courses will stay with them forever. Their new understanding of technology builds confidence and autonomy for a future education that will become increasingly focused on computer science.

We would not only like to take this day to celebrate the field of technology but, to celebrate the next generation of Computational Thinkers and their accomplishments this year! Food and drinks will be provided. Bring your family and friends!

Also, join us to hear more about our upcoming winter classes for even more opportunities for you and your children to participate in the computer science educational wave!

Please see below for further details on our event! We hope to see you there!
