Summer Open House 2018

Summer is almost upon us! That means adventures into all things computational are just ahead! Computational Thinkers is proud to be hosting our Summer Break 2018 classes. This season, your children will learn, explore, and engage with technology in our dynamic summer courses.

On Friday, June 1st, 2018, from 5:30 – 7:30 PM, join us for our Pre-Summer and Post-School Year Open House! Over the past weeks, students have been working hard to expand their computational skills. They have been applying their learning to unique projects. During the open house, celebrate student’s achievements as they showcase these projects. Play the games they’ve created, view their designs and artwork, and test the devices made! Our Electronic Music class students will be our night’s DJ!

During the evening, you will also hear from our summer program instructors. You can ask them questions directly, get an in-depth view of what your children will be learning in their classes, and discuss any other questions you may have. You will also gain more insight into how students will incorporate crypto coins into their learning. We are here to give you as much information as possible to help you plan for our summer of computational fun together!

This event is for both you and your children to get a hands-on look at what it means to be apart of Computational Thinkers. Interacting with students who have completed our year courses, seeing them light up over the projects they have created is an equally valuable experience as you are planning your child’s summer activities. Kids today have technology no other generation had before, but, being able to apply technical knowledge to projects that can be shared and used by others is one of the life-long skills that Computational Thinkers offers to students. Joining us for this open house on June 1st is your first step into setting your child up with the tools for a lifetime of innovation and collaboration.

As a recipient of this Fellowship, she will “be part of an exclusive network that connects with unique entrepreneurial businesses in Silicon Valley.”

Alongside other innovative courses from our group of talented instructors this summer, such as Coding + Game Design and 3D Printing, Tzana will be teaching the Artificial Intelligence 101 and Intro to Youtube (Viral Media) courses.

Meet her and the rest of the team Friday, June 1st at 5:30 at our center (4224 Waialae Ave, Honolulu, HI 96816) to hear more about the exciting summer we have in store!
